In memory of Major Duane W. Dively

Major Duane Dively, a U-2 pilot, was killed during a mishap on 22 June while returning to base from an operational mission in Southwest Asia. Little detail is known about the events surrounding the accident. An investigation is underway and getting extreme support from all levels.

The funeral was be held at Beale AFB, CA on Thursday, 30 June on the flightline. Immediately following was a processional to Gridley-Biggs Cemetery for the Committal, which included full military honors. The Church of Glad Tidings in Yuba City hosted a reception with catering generously provided by local businesses and community organizations.
